Hello everyone
After many years of writing, this looks to be my last post. No, I don’t suffer from creative output, but rather from an ailment directly related to writing—computer vision syndrome—or digital eye strain.
Basically, my eyes hurt when I write, and it makes me miserable. Since we live in a digital world, our message goes out in the same way, and we can reach a wide audience quite effectively. The trade-off with eyes, however, will bear out with time spent on digital devices.
Viewing a computer or digital screen is different than reading a printed page. Often the letters on the computer or handheld device are not as precise or sharply defined, the level of contrast of the letters to the background is reduced, and the presence of glare and reflections on the screen may make viewing difficult. In my case, I would say that the visual demands of the task exceed my visual abilities to comfortably perform them, even though I’ve tried every filter and every screen correction known to man.
As such, I’ve kicked into self-preservation mode and decided that I want to preserve my vision. Hence, and sadly, I have to quit most computer use and this includes writing on StrongHealth about health issues.

I will leave this blog up live and make all posts free to read for everyone to enjoy. It has been an honour to write and educate everyone on health throughout the decades. I hope that I have made a difference in your world. Now after many years, it’s time to hang it up. I bid everyone farewell and a healthy life.
Sincerely,
Jorg Mardian
