I wanted to share some thoughts with you about a conversation we had recently. You know how you said you’re just not feeling healthy? How your your energy's low, and you’re always run down and weak? Well I thought about what you said, and I wanted to share something that might be helpful, and I'm saying this because I care about you!
I've noticed some changes in your weight over the past few years. I'm wondering if you've ever thought about how your weight might be connected to your diabetes and high blood pressure. These conditions can be related, and addressing them could really improve your overall health and well-being.
I’m telling you this because I’m concerned that these changes are creeping up on you, perhaps unawares. I know life can throw a lot at us, That can happen, especially if we’re really busy, stressed out over a job or just having any other issue that dominates a large part of our days. But because I’m your friend, I want to point this health issue out to you before it gets too late and things spiral out of control.
Can I tell you what I’m doing to feel good? I've made exercise a part of my daily routine, and it's made a world of difference. I honestly think I'd be much more stiff and sore, with less energy and motivation, if I didn't move my body regularly. It's been such a positive change for me!
It's not just about being more physical, although that's a big part of it. Eating wholesome, nourishing foods has really cleared my head and helped me feel more balanced overall. Seriously, the energy I get from eating this way is incredible! And I don't have to worry about constantly battling my weight, because I'm naturally eating less without feeling deprived. It's more about tuning in to what my body needs and adjusting as I go.
I also take a few minutes each morning to just relax and think about how I’ll approach this journey, and how to avoid obstacles at home and work that could derail my health efforts. I find this works well to get my mind on the subject and prioritize it for the day. It’s an important ritual because good health for me makes sure that I succeed in other areas of life. It creates a ripple effect that brings more energy to do the things I love, more resiliency to stress, and more joy and contentment overall.
Honestly, it might not always be easy. There will be the sweet ache of progress, ups and downs, twists and turns, and the occasional detour. But the rewards are worth it because you’ll experience the thrill of challenging yourself, and the deep satisfaction of knowing you’re investing in your health and feeling better day by day because of your effort.
