Dear subscribers,
About 6 months ago I ran into a difficult physical issue; my eyes gave me serious trouble due to monitor strain. After many decades of writing for newspapers, magazines and blogs, the problem appeared quite suddenly and forcefully, compounded with constant pain. I thought my days of education via computer were done. But there have been some new developments that have improved my situation to a degree, and I would like to share them.
First off, LCD computer eye strain is no joke. It’s a serious issue that will affect millions, though most don’t know it yet. Today’s computers, I-pads or phone screens are too bright, and they’re killing short view vision. Take my word for it, it will happen.
It’s an easy issue to ignore if you haven’t been affected by it, but once it happens, it’s very quick to progress. Unfortunately, most simply think of it as eye fatigue, not eye deterioration - a crucial mistake. And most will only figure it out when the damage is well set in.
Now what has changed for me? First, I made use of a screen projector, which has 95% less blue light and less intensity, since the light bounces into a wall, not straight into my eyes. Second, I also bought an e-ink tablet that’s like reading a book. Does this mean I’ll be writing like I used to? No, it doesn’t.
I would like to pursue my next venture on this platform mainly via audio podcast. My eyes still tire too easily to keep staring at a screen and I won’t risk any more deterioration. But I have a lot to share still and I’ve been encouraged by friends to find a way to do so. This then is my workaround and I think that it will work great if you’re into audio messages.
I’m looking to share a lot of ideas about agriculture, biodiversity, ecosystem functions, cause and effect in land/animal management and so on. Here in Canada, the government is looking to interfere with supermarkets and tell us what we can eat. You can imagine what types of foods they have in mind. Not too many will be healthy because they’ll all be tied to huge food/pharmaceutical conglomerates that aim to profit off our health. This type of communist crazy is probably coming to other countries very soon; Canada just leads the pack into madness. Therefore it’s up to us to look for alternative sources to grow or buy foods in order to stay healthy.
I will also be talking about many other varied subjects that come across my desk and will impact you. I’ve sent this short introduction out to my entire old subscriber list. If you don’t want to be included, simply unsubscribe. But if you’re into learning hard truths about natural health, then stay tuned my friends, as I’m re-energized and back in the saddle.
