Hello StrongHealth Tribe,
No matter how long one has been involved in the health business, there is always more to learn. I wish I could say things are getting better out there, but the reverse is actually true. It’s a dogfight between consumers and those wishing to inflict harm on us. That tells me we have to be even more vigilant in order to stay healthy. Today’s issue should give you some added insights into how to do that!

Turbo Cancer Taking Off Like Wildfire
What’s Your Biological Age?
Three Fitness Facts
Three Nutrition Facts
1. Turbo Cancer Taking Off Like Wildfire
Cancers are taking off or coming back “like wildfire. Here’s what doctors (and others) are observing.
• Lymphomas, myelomas, and leukemias are skyrocketing at rates never seen in 40 years of practice.
• Cancer-free patients of up to 20 years took their vaccine shots and boosters, and cancer is back like wildfire.
• Younger women are developing more aggressive cancers.
The evidence for soaring cancer rates is not just anecdotal; it is also showing up in the data.
“The percentage numbers look scarier than the raw numbers, but the trend line is consistently going up,” explained Dr. Cole. “And it’s trackable now in the CDC data.”
The growth patterns and behaviour of cancers are also “completely out of character.”
This is a phenomenon that has been popularized by the term “turbo cancer.”
Cancer specialists usually know how cancer is going to behave over a set period of time, but these same specialists are now observing cancer acting in ways they’ve never seen before. Dr. Cole explained, “This is a phenomenon that’s unusual in the practice of medicine.”
“So ‘turbo cancer’ is something that wasn’t there, and all of a sudden, it’s everywhere. It goes from being in one spot to [being] everywhere all at once. And it happens in a manner that is timeline-accelerated.”
2. What’s your Biological Age?
Have you heard that “60 is the new 40” or “40 is the new 20?” What does this really mean? The calendar tells us our chronological age, but biologically you may have the potential to function and feel more like you’re 40 years old.
Biological age is a measure of how old your cells are acting, and longevity scientists agree that if we’re able to delay aging, we will likely help our bodies ward off the onset of chronic disease, maintain functional capacity, and reduce complications from infectious diseases.
There are three main factors that impact biological age:
Genetics: Think of DNA as the body’s computer hardware and epigenetics as the software program that allows the specific functions to be expressed and performed. Biological and environmental factors are the two main influencing factors.
Biological: We can get pretty scientific here and talk about metabolic components of cell function and balance. Or, we could say that biological age can be enhanced with a healthy lifestyle of good nutrition and fitness. Much simpler than the details!
Environmental: The last main category includes other lifestyle choices: less stress; no smoking; sun and fresh air exposure, sufficient sleep and so on. All have an influence on cellular aging, and whether this is positive or negative depends on our daily choices.
Lifestyle alteration is one potential route to decreasing biological age, maintaining good health, and resisting disease. Our focus should be less on how long we live, and more on the quality of our lives. To do this, strive to make positive, meaningful lifestyle changes.
3. Three Fitness Facts
It Takes at Least 12 Weeks of Regular Exercise To Get Into Shape.
While you’ll likely see some results like fat loss and muscle gain in as little as 6-8 weeks, most people won’t experience measurable changes in their fitness level until the 3 to 4-month mark. If you don’t see results right away, don’t get discouraged! Stick with it and the good changes will come.
Switching Up Your Workout Will Help You Lose More Weight.
When you do the same workout day after day, your body adjusts and you’ll often hit a weight loss plateau. Doing a mix of exercises with different intensities is a better way to train, and also reduces the likelihood of injury from repeated stress.
Only 10% of People Succeed in Losing Weight Through Dietary Changes Alone.
If weight loss is your goal, combining an exercise regimen with a balanced diet is the best way to shed pounds—and keep them off. According to the National Weight Control Registry, 89% of people who combined diet and exercise successfully lost weight and maintained their new weight for a year, compared to 10% of people who used diet changes alone.
4. Three Nutrition Facts
Flaxseed Is Beneficial Against Cancers
Flaxseeds, known as one of the richest sources of essential omega-3 fatty acids and having around one hundred times more cancer-fighting lignans than other foods, have also been demonstrated to prove helpful against breast and prostate cancers; controlling cholesterol, triglyceride, and blood sugar levels; reducing inflammation; and successfully treating constipation.
Vitamin D Insufficiency May Account for Almost Nine of Ten COVID-19 Deaths
Evidence from observational studies is accumulating, suggesting that the majority of deaths due to SARS-CoV-2 infections are statistically attributable to vitamin D insufficiency and could potentially be prevented by vitamin D supplementation.
Fewer Meals May Prevent Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity
New research found that a specific type of restricted eating may reduce the chances of developing Type 2 diabetes and improve your overall health. Known as time-restricted eating, this type of fasting means having regular but fewer meals, cutting out late-night snacks and not eating for 12 to 14 hours (often overnight).
Have a great weekend and stay healthy!
