"Plant Based" Lies That Ruin Your Health
Have you heard about the health benefits of plant based foods? Everyone is sharing their favorite vegan diets, raving about nut or oat milks and are curious about new plant-based foods.
If you believe the advertising, you’ll be eating these foods, along with the 6 to 8 percent who call themselves vegetarian or vegan and the 1/3 or so of Americans who say they’re flexitarian - mostly plant-based but occasionally eat meat and dairy.
Many are now trying these foods because companies are stocking grocery store shelves with fake cheeses, coffees, dairy free yogurts and ice creams. There’s even fake tuna, non-eggs and plant based burgers that sizzle and look just like the real thing.

If you read the nutrition information on the ingredient labels, you’ll notice an important omission - the words listed don't reflect their plant based status.
