Hello Jorg. Is it calcium carbonate or BI-carbonate? I found calcium carbonate but it seemed like it was a non-food grade chemical. The calcium BI-carbonate I found in the BulkSupplements and Pure brands. I have found all the other supplies to make the magnesium bicarbonate.

Calcium bicarbonate can only exist in aqueous solution. I have retracted the use of calcium carbonate and now use egg shells for calcium, which we simply dry and the crush in a blender. This can be added in shakes or any recipes. It's the best way to absorb calcium, as well as through yogurt, cheese, kefir. I actually wrote an article on it a while back which you can find on the site by using the "search" option. The other ingredients in the magnesium bicarbonate are easy to find. Hope this helps.

Hi Jorg, all I can see at the amazon link you provided is magnesium chloride or magnesium oxide in pill forms. If I cannot find hydroxide would you recommend another form? Or is it not the same? Thanks.

Hi Kirby. Yes indeed, I messed up on the link. It has to be magnesium hydroxide, so I corrected the link and it should point you there correctly now. Let me know if you encounter any difficulties. Cheers.
