Physician assisted suicide (or the softer version) medical assistance in dying is hotly debated in an ever expanding number of countries. It’s a process that allows someone who is found eligible to be able to receive assistance from a medical practitioner in ending their life. According to Forbes, it’s now available to over 280 million people in 11 countries around the world and the practice will probably expand mightily from now on.
Many people see assisted suicide as a good thing because, in their eyes, it helps the suffering. But they fail to see that once the door is opened, this legislation goes into dark directions. Listen to this broadcast to see what I mean.
